- Put your dog’s immediate needs first
When your dog is injured in any way when you are in training, put everything aside and take care of him first. You can even postpone the training until the next day. This will let your dog know that you have a strong caring heart for him and this will build your relationship more and more
- Control your dog’s exposure
By controlling your dog’s exposure, it will help your dog to only stick to the behaviors you have taught him and encourage the good relationship you have built. The exposure sometimes might cause your dog to adapt some behaviors which are not good or will hurt your relationship for it will start fading away.
- Always use positive reinforcement
You can comfortably put desirable behaviors to your dog through luring and shaping techniques. This also will increase the relationship and also make your dog adapt the behaviors you want him to adapt.
